What will my child be learning and how will this be organised?

June 4, 2020 by

Our focus remains on quality first teaching with a greater emphasis on assessment (both formal and informal) to ensure that our timetabling, intervention programmes, use of resources and delivery of learning are having a positive impact.

Baseline information, such as reading ages, will be used to find out what children know when they return after such a long absence.  This allows teaching and assessment to be clearly focused on the current needs of children to ensure we offer a broad and ambitious curriculum.
